Questions
Does boosting guarantee my item will sell?
No. A boost changes where your ad appears — it does not change the price, the photos or the demand for what you are selling. It puts your ad in front of more of the people already browsing that category.
Do boosts renew automatically?
No. Every boost is a one-time payment for a fixed period. Nothing recurs, and there is nothing to cancel.
When does my boost start?
As soon as your payment is confirmed, and it runs for the full period from that moment. If your ad is still in review, the boost applies the moment it goes live — so it is usually worth waiting for approval before boosting a brand-new ad.
Can I run more than one boost at a time?
Yes. Top Ad, Featured and Urgent are independent and can run together on the same ad. You cannot buy the same boost twice while it is already running.
What if my ad expires before the boost does?
We do not sell a boost that runs longer than the ad has left — those options are greyed out when you choose. A membership gives your ads a longer run, which makes the longer boosts available.
What happens if I edit my ad while a boost is running?
Editing sends the ad back for review, and it is not publicly visible during that time. The boost keeps running, so try to get edits done before you boost.
